Gardner Village

Before Halloween, Christian and I went to this cool shopping center that went over the top with their Halloween decorations. This is a witch using an outhouse and in the picture of Christian there is a witch flying on a bike over his shoulder. I plan to take all female relatives and friends to visit this place when you come to town. It is really great.

Mary made the pumpkin on the left, and Christian was quite proud of his BYU pumpkin, which he believes inspired the team to their comeback win over the Yoots. Sorry about the blurry quality, though.

Here is a picture right before Mikie went into the MTC. I know, I know its been a while, this was back in September.

This is Christian cooking on his little grill on the Fourth of July. (It's kind of wimpy, but someday we'll upgrade to a real grill). We made some shrimp skewers and enjoyed watching the fireworks.

We went camping with our friends Chris and Krista up American Fork canyon. We had a great time, ate some s'mores, and had a nice smokey fire.

Here we are at the airport getting ready to go home. Lucky for us, Mom's gate was right next to ours and we got to wait for our flights together. It was a wonderful and relaxing trip for us. We can't wait to visit again!

One of our favorite parts of the trip was our outing to Sisters, Oregon. I had a wonderful time buying more quilt fabric at an amazing fabric store there. We also had a good time visiting with Amy's family who were visiting over the weekend as well.

On the first day in Redmond, Amy took us on a nice picnic to the park near their house.

On Saturday we went to the Real Salt Lake vs. L.A. Galaxy game. LA won 3-2, but it was a good game, and awesome weather. Mikie and I both got sunburned, but we all had a great time.

My Mom, Dad, and brother Michael all came down from Anchorage for my graduation. We all had a great time, and afterwards we went to dinner at Ottavios in Provo.

I have been on a crafty kick lately and made this quilt for my friend Holly's new baby that was born in December. It is my first attempt at a quilt and I plan to do more. I just need a sewing machine first!

This is a blanket that I made for Krista, my good friend, who is due to have a baby boy in a few weeks. It is my first crocheted blanket and so I am pretty proud of it!!!
