Jack's New Obsession

His first introduction to the world of Harry Potter

The other day I was looking at a magazine with a preview of summer movies. Jack came over and kept saying "Ha Po" over and over. I looked around, not knowing what he meant, and noticed a picture of Harry Potter. Since neither Christian or I had spent anytime teaching him who Harry Potter was I figured it was a coincidence. Not so, this kid knows his Harry Potter. He can pick him out pretty quickly (must be the glasses!) and has even started to ask to watch the movies, which at this point are a little beyond his understanding and scariness level. Good thing I started exposing him to the books at such a young age. It is wonderful to have another Hogwarts lover in the house.

We had a really fun time yesterday playing at a water party. My friend Kattrina took some incredible pictures of all the kids while they were playing. She got some great shots of Jack and some really beautiful ones of Anna. Click here to check out the pictures.

As you can see from the video, Anna is still learning how her hands and arms work. She is getting pretty good at pulling her binky out but has a hard time getting it back in! You can also get a clear good understanding of why we call her "Squeaker." Lately she has had a croaky voice that is pretty cute.

Easter Egg Hunt

We're just getting around to posting the video of Jack's first Easter Egg hunt. It set the record for the longest video post we've done (2:26) so don't feel like you have to watch the whole thing.
(Spoiler alert: He ends up finding all the Easter Eggs.) Enjoy!

Easters!!

We had a really wonderful Easter this year with Mom and Mikie down visiting for the weekend. Here are some pictures from the festivities. We took some video too and will try to post that soon.

Time for another haircut!

We had a great time visiting Byron, Jen and the boys down in St. George these last few days. Jay and Rex were really sweet with Anna, and Jack loved them and wanted to copy everything they were doing. Here are some pictures of the fun!

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

John and Mom braved the stormy Spring weather and drove down to meet Anna, play with Jack, and hopefully get into a Conference session. We've had a really wonderful time with them so far.

We went down to Cabella's today and played around in the arcade shooting range:
