Today we went and visited Gardiner Village. It 's this cute little shopping village made up of Pioneer cabins and houses . The shop owners go all out for Halloween and the place is crawling with witches. Going there has become a Halloween tradition and it was a lot of fun to show it to Jack.
This looks like a giant black and purple boa, but it is in fact a woman dressed up as a witch with a pet spider. I think she looks fantastic!
" Talk to the hand Kirsten" Lizanne and Kirsten came to visit this weekend, and the babies had fun getting to know each other. Kirsten is teaching Jack a thing or two about rolling around...
This is Jack's impersonation of a dolphin. Who knows, maybe he has a career at Sea World ahead of him... The picture is sideways because Mary is still learning how to use the camera.... :)
Grandma and Jack This is me and Jack getting ready to watch the BYU football game last Saturday. He doesn't have a cougar shirt yet, but only because the bookstore was out when we went...
Lately Jack has acquired a new talent of blowing bubbles. He drools a lot more as well and so it isn't too hard to turn the drool into a few fantastic bubbles. He also loves to kick his legs at some of his toys. It is a good thing too because I don't think the creases in his legs could get much deeper!
Aunt Carly stopped in Salt Lake on her way down to California and we were able to meet her at the airport. It was great to see her and hopefully next time we'll see her for a lot longer!!
We had a chance to go out to the Oregon coast on Monday with Mom, John, Emily, Dave, and Dave's family. It was a beautiful day! We stopped by Astoria, OR on the way and found the house that Goonies was filmed at. The house has a new paint job but Emily and I had seen the movie so many times that it was not hard to identify it. The only problem is that the road to the house said "private drive...no cars" and so we had to take a picture from the road below. It was a cool moment anyway!
Here are some pictures of our trip to Vancouver. Most of them involve Jack interacting with family members. We had a wonderful time celebrating Emily and Dave's marriage.
